Wow! For the first time in a looooong while, I totally knocked out as soon as I hit my bed. I don't think it had anything to do with the fact that we were celebrating Christmas either.
Oh, 'bout Christmas... boring stuff, really. Some time in the afternoon, my cousin Cecilia ("Cc") and her mom ("Second Aunt") came over, and they chatted with my parents and stuff, nothing special. A little while later, little sister asked if she could open up her presents, and Cc was like yeah, sure, whenever you want! So, we opened up our presents, hooray!... hmph. I got... a black shawl from sistah Aileen, a black Guess hoodie from Cc, a thermos travel set from Second Aunt, 30$ from Aunt #1 (the aunt I live with), and... oh! a sterling silver necklace and black mittens with hot pink ribbons at the cuffs from Aunt Betty. My grandma gave me 30$ too, I do believe ~checks red envelope~ Oops, my bad. Grandparents gave 10$ each, so 20$ in total. $50 in cash and a couple of black garments. ~shrug~ better than previous years, I guess :P At least everything this year I can actually USE, haha! Anyhoo! back to the story.
So, after opening presents, nothing special happened, hours later, cousin Loretta and her husband Jimmy came over with their half terrier half daschund dog, Lady, who tried to get at my poor rabbit. Loretta brought her into this room (the room I work in, which is also the pet room) and had her sniff at Momo's cage. Momo, being the brave little bunny she is, just glared at the dog with ears up. No noticeable signs of fear (atta girl!). I bet she would've chased that damned dog out if I had opened her cage door, haha!
After some more chitchatting, we had dinner, during which practically everybody had some alcohol, including my underage self, but I only had a sip :] The stuff didn't really taste all that good, lol. Sparkling apple cider ftw!
After dinner, we played white elephant, which was quite fun. People fought over the scarf my mom submitted to the game, and the 3D origami swan from my little sister. I put in a "booby prize" gift, which induced a lot of crack-ups (as well as hateful glares :P those sore losers...). Loretta got the scarf initially, and Cc got the swan, but her mom, who was last to pick a gift, decided to steal the swan, and so Cc stole the scarf. Loretta got hella pissed and took the last unopened present, hoping it was candy, which in fact it was. It was a gorgeous box of seashell chocolates (which I picked out, btw!), and she was happy, as was her husband, who had the misfortune of choosing the second shittiest present (which was from his mother-in-law, Loretta and Cc's mom (Loretta and Cc are half sisters)). They opened up the box and shared the candy with everybody, which was nice (but also expected, dur!). All-in-all, fun stuff, a little family bonding is good... though it is most uncommon in this family of mine :P Hehe.
Oh yeah! After dinner, Lady kept staring at my rabbit. My dad had put down a cardboard fence separating the two rooms before, and had lifted it up for just a split second. However, Lady had seen the other side in that split second, and was intent on getting to my Momo. At one point, I took out my Nerf gun and shot at the cardboard fencing. That FREAKED Lady out (to my delight). Still, she wouldn't give up. After getting enough guts to leave her "Daddy"'s side (she hides there when scared), she went back to the fence and sat peering over it. I swear, if that thing took one step into this room, I would've either blasted it's brains out or kicked it dead. I kept imagining a scene where my rabbit and the dog fought, and me going over and just giving one hard solid kick right to the dog's guts. It's not that I don't like dogs, it's just that that thing was after my baby. I was simply protecting her like any mother would. Too bad though, the dog was too gutless to jump the fence (though my cousin assured me she could). No target practice. Booo!!
Now, the best part of Christmas! Well, actually, it was after Christmas... I think we started right before midnight. By the time we actually got a match going, it was probably past midnight. Oh, whatever! The point is, I played Draw My Thing on omgpop.com with Lewis and Michelle, and it was uber fun. Michelle seems to have grown a fondness for Lewis, or at least her image of him has soften up. We were supposed to play with Eric too, but he couldn't make it in. By the time he could get in, Michelle was saying she was "pooped", and Lewis needed to go to bed, so that didn't work. Next time, next time.
Although Draw My Thing with them was incredibly entertaining, I was in a total state of exhaustion I guess; my head was numb, my brain felt like it had exploded, and I was in a slit-wrist yet not depressed mood. I was running on some weird, hyperactive energy... My insides felt all funny, haha. Half way through our playtime, I went into a total spazztic state, and started saying God knows what. I guess you could say I was a high druggy/drunk, or something like that? Hm. Most peculiar. Anyway, we said our goodnights, and I went to bed after a short chat with Eric and Michelle. Like I said before, as soon as I was ready for bed and on it, I was fast asleep. Didn't wake up until I think around 10, but that was because my mom and little sister were talking really disrespectfully loudly, which is unusual for them at that time of day. They tend to be good about whispering when people are still asleep. Oddest part is, I started crying. They were talking in a semi-loud regular talk voice, and for some unknown reason, it was driving me insane. I guess it was because I was still exhausted, and couldn't think or fall asleep or anything due to their talking. I wanted to tell them to shut up, but instead I burst into a short crying fit. Then, I fell asleep! lol! From there, I slept until 1:27 PM, the latest I've ever slept. I feel quite awake now, though my head still feels a bit muddled. Definitely overslept, but I'm not feeling in the least bit groggy right now. How strange...
I wonder how today will turn out?

Blisters, Calluses, and Rope Burns! Hooray for Rockclimbing!
For the first time all winter break, I had to get up EARLY this morning! My brother decided to go rockclimbing at Vertical Hold, and obviously, he was taking his two favorite (and only) little sisters with him ;] ;] ;] Since lunch passes are much cheaper than day passes (10$ versus 16$), we decided to leave home at around noon, meaning we'd get there by around 12:30. Unfortunately, that meant my brother and I both had to get up much earlier than we are currently used to; I mean, seriously, we get up at EARLIEST 12:30 nowadays! Hahahaha xD Oh wells.
I did much better today than I have previous times, so I'm quite satisfied with myself. On the contrary, my brother did much worse than usual. My little sister... I don't know, I think she did better? ~shrug~
Currently, my hands are covered in blisters and calluses and a couple of cuts and scrapes, and there's a rope burn on my arm (I rammed into the rope hard twice today, and though that doesn't sound painful or potentially rope burn- causing at all, somehow, it was painful and did give me a burn, so pfft!). My hands and arms aren't hurting all that much right now, surprisingly. I feel like I probably could've done more walls before leaving, but I didn't want to push myself too hard. I still have to be able to do push ups for my push ups training! I can't be lazing around with dead, beat up arms!! :P Besides, my brother said we're going to go back next week, but with his girlfriend that time. My potential sister-in-law wants to hang out with us (lil sis + me), he said! :D Hehe.
Oh yeah, Michelle was supposed to come with us today to Vertical Hold, but she got a ton of shots and vaccines this morning during her doctor's appointment :'[ Swollen arms => unable to move them => falling rockclimbers :P noooot a good idea. Hopefully, she can make it this next trip! (My brother said he doesn't find her coming along this time either :D . So nice, so nice... why can't he be that nice to ME?! hahaha.)
After rockclimbing, we went to McDonalds and bought 40 chicken nuggets for parents + us three (Mom was actually acting as photographer during our rockclimbing, but Dad stayed home to fix the bathroom... lol!), one iced mocha for our daddy, and a caramel frappe for me :] nomnomnom. Am I feeling fat? Nooope, not at all... cough hack ~dies~ :P
After THAT, we lazed around home for a while, then went to Pho Hoa (i think that's how it's spelled, without accent-type mark thingers?) in Linda Vista for our favorite pho :] 'cept this time, I got eggrolls of some sort instead, because I was still full off the chicken nuggets. My little sister and I split a large bowl of pho and split the eggrolls (our brother and dad had an eggroll each too). Nomnomnom some more x]
That's about it for today. Finally, a day out of the house! Christmas is in two days (gasp!), oh boy... Christmas'es at my house are SO not fun... There's not even any Christmas spirit here...!! GRAWR!! >:[

The next time I get to get out of the house is probably Tuesday when my big sister comes and picks my lil sis and me up for bridal gown shopping... oooooh joy. Not looking forward to that...
OH MY! I'm leaving San Diego in like... a little more than a week! :O I don't know if I'm missing San Diego more right now, or my home in Davis... arg! How troublesome this all is... I haven't even hung out with anybody yet! I need to get on that!! D: Oh dear oh dear oh dear... But then again, my high school friends have either all ditched me or I've ditched them... My bestest best friend moved back to Sweden, Michelle is as trapped as me, and Tony... well, I don't know. Aside from badminton stuffs, we didn't really hang out much in the first place. Then there's my ex, and that's a definite no-go... Nobody else matters, except maybe Jpan. Ohmigosh! Jpan! Must not let that friendship die too! D: ~panics~!
Man, this sucks. ~shrugs~ Oh well.

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes~
I had the MOST fantastic dream this morning. Though I do remember most of the details of the dream (I happen to be a very vivid and (sometimes) lucid dreamer, thank you very much!), I feel like the contents of it are a bit too personal to share here. Sorry! Teehee~
But this dream was just so PERFECT, I woke up at seven in the morning feeling all warm and fuzzy inside... and seven in the morning is a ridiculous time for a lazy on-break college student like me to be up! The dream was the embodiment of everything I have ever wished for though, and more even. It made me believe that there is hope yet for "hopeless wishing". Perhaps the sky will brighten and my future will seem more inviting in the coming months.
I had meant to post this entry as soon as I had bounced out of bed, but the day has been much busier than I had expected. By busy, I mean me getting stuck on a boss in Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow, a game for the Nintendo DS that I've been playing for a few days now. I still haven't beaten that stupid "Flying Jellyfish" yet... I'm ashamed to call myself a gamer! Due to the (whoa!) 12 hour time span between when I woke up from the dream and the time I am writing this entry, the effects of the dream have almost entirely worn off, and the fuzzy images in my head aren't giving the same fuzzy feelings to my insides anymore. It's a shame really, it felt so nice before... Oh well! A chat with my friend in Sweden, all the way across the world from me, also killed my mood. As she had pointed out, I have been overly... honest... in certain Facebook notes of mine, haha... I wonder if that's truly a bad thing? Lying on them seems lame... Oh, who knows! We'll see how things go :]
Anyhow, great morning today, best dream of my life, would love to have it return to me tonight, but that's not saying I'd rather live the dream life than a life in reality. I'm a realist; I know when I'm being delusional :P
With that, I'm off to dinner! Yummy!
... but I'm not really hungry... :[

Yet another new blog!
Woohoo! First post! I never cease to be thrilled when writing the first post on a new blog xD
This is probably around my sixth blog, and hopefully my last one. After working on a dark and emo blog for a whole week, I decided to call quits and start something more cheerful, a blog I can actually update on a regular basis, like a diary. I've always wanted to start one, but somehow they always end up being for a specific purpose, like my Words of the Day blog, lol.
Ooh! I just looked at a preview of this post, and I have to say, I really like the little flower on the corner! It's so cute and sweet! :D I think I'm going to keep this layout for a while; it goes well with my personality and the topic of this blog, like Michelle mentioned. If only I could remove those "Prince" and "Princess" signs... and make the birds a little cuter (they're kinda ugly, wouldn't you say?). Not to mention the girl... What's up with those eyes? Eek!
Anyhoo, my dark days are over. I guess I'm just bipolar or something, 'cuz I always find myself down for a few days without really a major reason to be so. "The Life of a Lost Soul" blog was a result of just that; random emo'ness from nothingness. Thus, I stored that blog safely away; I won't be touching it for quite a while, I hope.
(p.s., that blog is full of bull, don't bother reading it, please! haha. I'm a bit torn between tearing the whole thing down and keeping it just for laughs :P)
Darn, I don't remember what I was going to say! Oh, right! Hm, I started the Hundred Push-ups program last Wednesday, and I haven't done my sets for today. That's not good! Day 3 and I'm already falling behind! Lewis, help!! Haha! Ohmigosh, that kid can do forty-five push-ups, AT LEAST! I can hardly do seven right now!! That alone should be motivation for me, but I'm feeling so lazy right now, I don't even want to go refill my water bottle. Oh noes... ><!
Hmph! I should probably get my lazy ass off this chair. ~Sigh~
